São José dos Campos, Brazil, June 30, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/ B3: EMBR3), one of the global leaders in the aerospace industry, today delivered four A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to the Paraguayan Air Force. The ceremony, held at Silvio Pettirossi Air Base near the capital Asunción, was attended by the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, Vice President Pedro Alliana, Minister of National Defense Army General Óscar González, Commander of the Paraguayan Air Force Air General Júlio Fullaondo, and other civil and military authorities.

“The arrival of these aircraft represents much more than a logistical addition: it is a firm step towards modernizing our operational capabilities. The A-29 Super Tucanos, equipped with cutting-edge technology, enhance our effectiveness in conducting airspace surveillance missions and provide timely responses to emerging challenges. This effort is a clear example of our vision for the future and our commitment to modernizing our capabilities. This addition to our fleet represents the most significant defense acquisition in the last 38 years. The A-29s delivered to Paraguay are the most modern of their kind in the world. It should be emphasized that these actions should not be considered an expense, but rather an investment to ensure security, national sovereignty, and sustainable development,” said Air General Júlio Fullaondo, Commander of the Paraguayan Air Force.

“It is an enormous satisfaction for us to deliver the first four A-29 Super Tucano aircraft, out of a total of six units, to the Paraguayan Air Force. Recognized internationally for its versatility, operational flexibility, and agility in various types of missions, from light attack to advanced training, we are confident that it will meet both the current and future needs of the Paraguayan Air Force,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.

For air forces seeking a proven, efficient, and cost-effective solution, the Super Tucano is the best choice. The aircraft offers a wide range of missions, such as Advanced Pilot Training, Close Air Support, Air Patrol and Interdiction, JTAC Training, Armed ISR, Border Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Air Escort.

As the most effective multi-mission aircraft in its class, it is equipped with advanced technology for precise target identification, weapons systems, and a comprehensive communications suite. Its capability is enhanced by advanced HMI avionics integrated into a robust airframe capable of operating from unpaved runways, in austere environments, and with limited infrastructure. Additionally, the aircraft has reduced maintenance requirements, offering high levels of reliability, availability, and structural integrity, with low operating costs.

Recently, the A-29 Super Tucano reached the impressive milestone of 600,000 flight hours, another significant achievement in its successful history. Selected by 22 air forces around the world, it has accumulated more than 290 orders worldwide.
