Argentina purchasing 4 Beechcraft T-6C+ Texan II
Argentina signed the purchase of 4 Beechcraft T-6C + Texan II advanced training aircraft for the Argentine Air Force (FAA). The contract is $ 88 million and aircraft are expected to be delivered to the FAA in April 2018. According to US Department of Defense, this contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Argentina.
The contract includes the training of pilots and technical personnel as well as support for maintenance.
The T-6C + (of which the FAA intends to incorporate 12 aircraft) will gradually replace the Embraer EMB-312 Tucano in its role of trainer.
